1. UK Mainland Delivery
- Dispatch: orders placed before 14:00 on a working day are packed the same day; everything else goes out the next working day (Mon–Fri, 9:00–17:30 UK time).
- Transit: typically 1–3 working days by courier or Royal Mail, depending on parcel size and weight.
- Cost: shipping is calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of your basket — you see the exact figure before you pay, with no surprises.
- Tracking: a dispatch email with tracking details lands in your inbox the moment your parcel leaves us.
2. Scottish Highlands, Islands & Northern Ireland
We deliver to all UK addresses. Remote postcodes and island destinations usually add 1–2 working days to transit; the checkout shows the correct delivery cost automatically once you enter your postcode.
3. Europe
European delivery is available on request. Because parcel sizes and weights vary hugely in packaging, we quote Europe deliveries individually — email info@akaalpackaging.shop with your basket and address, and we will confirm the delivery cost and lead time in writing before you order.
4. Packaging & Handling
Every order is packed in appropriate protective material (that is literally our business) and sealed before dispatch. Heavy items such as box packs and stretch film travel on a tracked courier service; small light parcels go Royal Mail.
